Introduction to Unreal Engine 4

This tutorial goes over creating a new project and rehash of the Unreal interface, although I actually learned what the white quadrants mean when customizing your interface, which I wish I had understood during the first tutorial. Goes over how to move around and pan through the scene as did the previous tutorial and how to choose and place objects into the scene including the difference between local and global control options and parenting objects.

BSP geometry basics:

Then went over the content browser and Blocking in the Level:

Cutting out the windows, have an issue, internet service cut off before the third window was cut, Unreal had an update and NOW the new third window doesn't cut out like the two prior ones did.
Finally after MANY restarts reverting to autosaves, I made a new box (any copy from the original two windows would not subtract) and the dimensions on the box are exactly what they should be, EXCEPT now the boxes are at a 90 degree rotation than originally. It has to be an issue generated by the updating in the file.  I'm going to continue on realizing that this one window is a deviant.
Added the beams.

How to import static meshes and be sure to set pivot points before exported from model software:
Began placing wall and windows, if only real life was this easy.
Finished walls, windows, floor and roof.
Finished the wall, doorways, and pillars:
Hung the doors and windows.

Went over and introduction to lighting:

Then went over material editor basics and created our first material:

Continued adding more enhancements to the painted wood node:
Adding grime:

And then learned how to create an instanced material:

Then assigned all materials to assets in the room. The dragging and dropping for me only worked on the one element I dropped it on to, not all the elements selected like it did in tutor's video so I had to assign via the arrow in the material list in the lower right.  Tried several times and it didn't work in any of the attempts.

Lighting the environment:

Sculpted grassy hills and mowed the lawn:

Sold the goat and now weeds and shrubs are everywhere:

Then hired and electrician to install wiring (I don't think he was licensed):

Finalizing the visuals:

Toggle light:
